Night Snowshoeing
As if walking on snow in a magic winterscape wasn't exotic enough, why not try doing it at night?
We usually spend some time walking without lights to let our eyes adjust to the darkness so we can fully appreciate the ambiance and the starts. Then we use actual, burning torches to light our way!
On a clear night, we'll have the opportunity to star-gaze and spot planets, and on our high-level walks (e.g. on the Bourgeoise), we'll be able to admire the night lights of Samoëns and the rest of the Giffre valley!
And why not finish up in style, with a meal in the valley's one and only Yurt?
As an alternative, we'll explore the majestic and slightly spooky Fer à Cheval. Here, as an additional option, we can also offer having a meal in the Auberge du Fer à Cheval.

Pick-up and drop-off
We are more than happy to come and pick you up and drop you off at the place where you are staying. Please note that the timings are approximate and can be adjusted to your preferences.

Children under 12 get a 5 € discount!
What to bring
Please bring a jacket, warm jumper/fleece, woolly hat and gloves, salopettes/winter trousers, good winter walking boots, and gaiters to keep the snow out of your shoes (if you have them; often however, saloppets have built-in gaiters). A head-torch is also handy if you have one. Bring plenty of water and plenty of sweets and energy for the kids. And we'll also supply extra treats to children and adults alike!
Minimum Group Size
For half-day and night snowshoe walks, the minimum group size is 2 - otherwise, the price for a private guide is 50 € for one person.
