Igloo Building
Igloo building is the perfect team activity for children and adults alike - We work together to build a fantastic house completely made out of snow! Within an hour or two, it is perfectly possible to construct an igloo that will fit five people. Once finished, we have a well-deserved hot drink inside!
Your guide will start off by equipping the team with snowshoes, walking poles and snow shovels and after a short introduction, we set off to the building site (the length of this walk will be determined by the age of the children). If we come across tracks of wild animals on the way, it’s an added bonus!
Where we go depends on the snow conditions and the time of the day. In the morning, we might go up to la Bourgeoise (stunning views of Mont Blanc), where we can also offer a well-deserved lunch at the Col de Joux Plane after the effort! Allow approx. 20 € for the meal, including drinks.

Pick-up and drop-off
We are more than happy to come and pick you up and drop you off at the place where you are staying. Please note that the timings are approximate and can be adjusted to your preferences.

Children under 12 get a 5 € discount!
What to bring
Please bring a jacket, warm jumper/fleece, woolly hat and ski gloves, salopettes/winter trousers, good winter walking boots, and gaiters to keep the snow out of your shoes (if you have them; often however, saloppets have built-in gaiters). An extra pair of gloves (e.g. thin fleece gloves) is a good idea, as the ski gloves tend to get very wet with all the snow work. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring plenty of water and plenty of sweets and energy for the kids. And we'll also supply extra treats to children and adults alike!
Minimum Group Size
For Igloo Building, the minimum group size is 2 - otherwise, the price for a private guide is 50 € for one person. Prepare for hard work if you're on your own!
