How hard are our trips?

I always adjust the length of the trips and their difficulty level to the ability and the preference of the group. As a general rule of thumb, however, to get the most out of a trip with me, you should like the outdoors and lead an active life style!

Are the trips suitable to children?

Children are full of energy and love being out in the snow! From about the age of 7-8 years, most active children can sustain a whole day out. If they are younger than that, the trip generally needs to be adjusted. Contact me for more information.

Where do we go?

I will take you to the hidden gems of the Haut Giffre and Chablais mountain ranges, all within a convenient 15-30 min drive from Samoëns. The snow conditions, the weather, and finally the size and ability of the group are what determines the choice of destination for the day.

How big is the group?

AlpTracks is obviously a small operation and my goal is to offer personalised service. I adjust the itinerary and the length of the trip to the abilities and preference of the guests. Normally, I restrict the group size to eight people, as this is the size of my minibus. However, if you are a larger group of people who wish to come together, this is not a problem and I am happy to make you a special a group fare. However, you will need to arrange transport for the people that do not fit in the minibus.
