Come out for a morning hike to la Bourgeoise – a summit easily accessible by anyone but with exhilarating views of Samoëns, the Grand Massif, and Mont Blanc (on a clear day).
As an option, why not go for lunch on the Col de Joux Plane, still with fantastic views of the Mont Blanc range?
Alternatively, for the afternoon, discover the massive natural amphitheatre of le Fer à Cheval and take in the eeriness of this place in winter – you’ll hear the rumbling of falling ice and snow off the 500m-cliff faces! This is also the perfect place to spot Ibex in its natural habitat.
An introduction to snowshoeing suitable to everyone, our guides will show you how to use the provided material (snowshoes and walking poles) – this usually takes all of 10 minutes! – before we set off across the snow pack. On the way, we will discuss the environment – tracks, wildlife, the summits around us etc, all to ensure that you get as much as possible out of the experience.

Pick-up and drop-off
We are more than happy to come and pick you up and drop you off at the place where you are staying. Please note that the timings are approximate and can be adjusted to your preferences.

Children under 12 get a 5 € discount!
What to bring
Please bring a jacket, warm jumper/fleece, woolly hat and gloves, salopettes/winter trousers, good winter walking boots, and gaiters to keep the snow out of your shoes (if you have them; often however, saloppets have built-in gaiters). Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring a backpack with at least one litre of water. We'll supply extra treats to children and adults alike!
Minimum Group Size
For half-day and night snowshoe walks, the minimum group size is 2 - otherwise, the price for a private guide is 50 € for one person.
