For a more complete snowshoeing experience, we recommend coming out for the full day. This way, we are able to go further away from the ski stations and further into the wild!
Relaxing Full Day
On a relaxing full day, we keep a realxing pace, taking our time to stop and admire the wildlife and the views. You can choose to bring your own picnic, or, as an optional extra, we can arrange for lunch in a restaurant on the mountain, where you can sample some typical cuisine of the region – perhaps a cheese fondue? Allow approx. 20 € for the meal, including drinks.
Challenging Summit Adventure
This is the right option if you're hungry for an adventure!
Prepare for a long but intensely rewarding day as we attack one of the classic summits of the Haut Giffre valley. Expect up to 4 hrs of climbing effort for up to 1500m of height gain. We equip you with and train you to use avalanche tranceivers as these walks take you into true off-piste country. These skills can come in handy for keen off-piste skiers.
Please bring a picnic as where we're going, there are no restaurants!

Pick-up and drop-off
We are more than happy to come and pick you up and drop you off at the place where you are staying. Please note that the timings are approximate and can be adjusted to your preferences.
Children
Children under 12 get a 5 € discount!
What to bring
Please bring a jacket, warm jumper/fleece, woolly hat and gloves, salopettes/winter trousers, good winter walking boots, and gaiters to keep the snow out of your shoes (if you have them; often however, saloppets have built-in gaiters). Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring a backpack with at least two litres of water, some nibbles and your picnic (when applicable).
Minimum Group Size
The minimum group size for full day walks is 4. The price for a private guide is 120 € (1-3 people) for a full day (150 € for the Full Day Summit Adventure).
